Introduction :
- A natural, botanical extract from Karanja that contains plant growth stimulating factors, which promotes growth of plants, improving the soil texture, soil microorganism activity with high quality yields.
- The oil extracted through cold press method having content of triglycerides, and its disagreeable taste & odour are due to bitter flavonoid constituents specially Pongamia & karanjin.
Composition :
- Karanj Oil contains alkaloids i.e. demethoxy – kanugin, gamatay, glabrin, glabrosaponin, kaempferol, kanjone, kanugin, karangin, neoglabrin, pinnatin, pongamol, pongapin, quercitin, saponin, b-sitosterol & tannin

Mode of Action :
- Karanjin is the main active ingredient of Karanj Oil. As biter in taste & aroma it possess great antifeedants properties with creating disturbance which help to keep away pest attack.
- It also controls pest attack by interfering in the normal biochemical, physiological and metabolic process governing insect life cycle, metamorphosis through its identical biological properties of alkaloids.
- It proves to prevent pest attack by mechanisms like Antifeedants, Repellence for oviposition, colonization, & Feeding, Insect growth regulation by disturbing the metamorphosis.
Method of Application :
- It’s water soluble EC formulation gives soluble emulsion after getting contact with water.
- The spray fluid should cover all canopies for better results.

- It effectively controls the economically important sucking pests of crops such as Whitefly, Aphids, Thrips, Caterpillars and Leafhoppers among wide range of crops.
- Does not create resistance, resurgence and residues problem.
